本机适用于加工各类平板玻璃的圆弧边、鸭嘴边、斜边、及其它形变、（视磨轮形状）。形状简单的可实行半自动磨削。本机针对以往机型的不足之处，提高了转盘的精度，保证斜边的磨削精度；本机与众不同的增加了刹车系统，消除了运动间隙，并在转动中施加了适度载荷（可调）使得本机长期可保持无间隙动作，因此大大减少了磨削时的振动。使操作更加方便效率更高。
